Inner Chitter Chatter in Bali, Indonesia

Written Wed Oct 3rd, 2018 – 4:35am

My mind is racing and over thinking how I am become this fabulous blogger “laughs”. I am aware now how many fans are rooting for me on the side lines. I am filled with inner happiness and excitement that here I am, sitting in my villa, room mate sleeping, yoga colleagues all resting, and I sit here in my bedroom with this fly net covering my bed, typing away, sharing my busy inner chitter chatter.

Today we started our journey of 200 Hour yoga teacher training #YOGA . I manifest learning the yoga language easily and smooth sailing during my travels. I plan to work on this language block I have created in my mind towards my own Mi’kmaq language. It is almost like we spend a lot of our time in life pretending speaking another language is 'too hard' #TOOHARD to speak more than one language, yet I’ve learned we have many unspoken languages. I speak one of our own Indigenous language, Mi’kmaw, another the common colonial language, English. Now here I am in Padang Bai, Bali Indonesia (past-tense) and I have met local residents that are speaking five languages, their minds are so brilliant, they do not have any mental barriers to leap over. They seem motivated to know more then their own Indonesian language.

I sit here thinking, I can speak more than one language, I can speak English perfectly (with a touch of native slang “laughs”), Mi’kmaq, and bits of French and Spanish. I have surrounded myself enough around these people of these languages that I’ve heard it, now I will speak Sunskrit during Yoga, speak the language from the land I am traveling on, and to speak with Gratitude.

Maintaining an Attitude of Gratitude will be my backbone over the next eight months of traveling. I am preparing to launch Gratitude and Tea. This short time of traveling, I realize no one I personally know will be my main supports. So dig deep and be inspired. We are responsible for our own energies. Stay motivated, become better, look within the soul where the fire burns and chase your dreams, ambitions, and desires confidently. I manifest that ‘Gratitude and Tea Holistic Wellness will be a place for friends, family, travelers, and guest can enjoy reading, attending yoga/meditations, speakers, and gift shop while having a cup of tea #PITEWEY #AttitudeOfGratitude

It is 4 in the morning and simply I haven’t been breathing mindfully, I have been allowing the inner chitter chatter to slow and shorten my breath. Are you sitting in this moment reading, not consciously paying attention to your own breathing?

Well if yes, you are not alone. Is your breathing short? Slow? Or deep? Are you filling lungs fully? Inhaling, with a pause, then exhaling? Are your energy frequencies low? Energetic? Is your mind else where? Or are you focused? Simple questions to draw in your focus on the relationship between mind and body.

This trip, I am learning about self, learning how to become one with myself? Traveling Bali for 47 days, and the next 25 days will be morning meditation, morning swims and yoga. This trip is a holistic wellness trip, focusing on building emotional strength.

Todays blog is inspired by this inner chitter chatter and finding ways to inspire myself to sit and blog. But before getting into topics, I plan to freely express my travels and post at a later date when website is published (“Laughs” YEEE I am published www.gratitudeandtea.com)

REFLECTING ON GRATITUDE

I express my gratitude right now because I am learning about myself on levels I haven’t taken time to learn, to discover, and embrace. Taken time to become one with my inner light, to understand this relationship between mind and body, one with emotions, that self-love, self-discipline, and self-awareness. In the end, we realize, the only person that matters are ourselves, me, you… we come into this world, learn, and grow, and developing coping skills to adjust to our environments. And BAM this euphoric moment hits, first thing in the morning, “laughs” telling myself, ASHLEY you are important, I love you, I take care of you, your choices affect your life, and I will take care of ME, because when I lay my body to rest at night, close my eyes, and listen to my breathing, this is one life, and I am living my best life. Almost 33 in 16 more days (Yup 33 now) and this trip is the key! The key to my happiness and this is the motivation I am dreaming of, that all my hard work is paying off. Now, all this motivational reflection has slow down the inner chitter chatter and I can finally go meditate and begin my day.

“The one thing you have that nobody else has is you. Your voice, your mind, your story, your vision. So write and draw and build and play and dance and live as only you can!” ~ Neil Gaiman

Mindfulness

To some up living a fulfilling life, and speaking for only me. In this moment, in this country, far away from home base. A feeling and sensation I will try to put to words. Taken a moment to write and express gratitude for the friends, and moments, and teachings, and experiences are all but a one day at a time. Steps that will help me express the journey ahead.

I would advise you that if you are in this moment, scrolling, searching, seeking for some sort of short term fulfillment! Then begin to look within yourself as I look within myself too. I for one, know that I had set out to adventure on a dream that I manifested. Acknowledging this, it is a reminded that we are the creators of our dreams, and we can achieve them, believe in you!

Before ending this blog, if we all can all share a moment of gratitude. Smile, relax yours shoulders, stretch, be thankful and breath. =)
